Who?

Phil Evans, Diretor of judoeconomics, spent the last few years as a Director and Head of Consumer Policy at Fipra, the leading specialist network of competition advisors. He remains a senior consultant to Fipra.

He is a Member of the Competition Commission in the UK. Before that he was Principal Policy Adviser at Consumers' Association in the UK. Prior to that he spent his formative work years at the Economist Intelligence Unit.

Phil has authored a number of books and articles on various aspects of competition, trade and IP policy; and shopping. He is a Member of the UK Competition Commission.

What else?

Phil has taught at a number of universties and is on the advisory boards of the American Antitrust Institute and the Loyola University Consumer Antitrust Institute. He is a proud member and friend of the CUTS family of civil society organisations.

Phil has provided advice and technical assistance to a range of bodies, including the NAO, WTO, Unctad, Unicef, Consumer Focus, the IDRC and Beuc.
